Our church takes very seriously the call of God to be His ambassadors throughout the world.  People from every tongue, tribe and nation need to be confronted with their need of salvation and the forgiveness from sin that comes through faith alone in Jesus Christ.  Here are the missionaries that we currently support:

Terry and Gloria Dilley – Arctic Barnabas

Terry and Gloria’s mission is to strengthen and encourage pastor and missionary families to effectively advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout remote Alaska and Northern Canada.  Terry is a pilot and Gloria assists with women’s ministries.

Cheri Geise – World Venture and independent

Cheri served in Cote d’Ivoire for many years, first as a nurse and then as a teacher at a Bible institute. Her work greatly helped women’s study programs in a broad region. She is now semi-retired, as she returned to the U.S. and continues her ministry as the Women’s Ministry Director at her local church.

Mitzi Shinen – Wycliffe Bible Translators

Dave (who is now in heaven) and Mitzi began their translation work with the Yupik-speaking Alaskans on Gambell Island in 1959.  Since leaving Alaska for Oregon they completed their translation of the Bible into Yupik.

Malaga Media Center – Avant Ministries

The missionaries at Malaga Media Center in Malaga, Spain use various media to reach the Muslims of North Africa and Spain with the Gospel. They use radio, TV, the internet, and other means to achieve their goals.

Parker and Naomi Shroeder – Avant Ministries

Parker and Naomi (and their daughter, Thea) work with Avant Ministries at Echo Ranch Bible Camp. The trio work in the camp’s Program (games and activities) department to build trust and friendship between campers and counselors, and to nourish a love of the Gospel in the hearts of the 7- to 18-year-old kids attending each week.

Bob and Sheri Bowers – Interserve

Bob and Sheri will be serving in leprosy communities to bring hope, healing and the Gospel to the least-reached in rural South Asia.

Brett and Ashley Kilmer – Avant Ministries

Brett and Ashley are in the process of transitioning to serve with Avant Ministries in Malaga, Spain. This ministry uses various types of media to share the gospel with hard-to-reach people groups. Brett will serve in the role of Facilities Manager, overseeing IT, general property maintenance, and construction.
